Abstract

This article refers to the processes developed in Peruvian universities during recent decades, from the application of new public policies promoted by the State to increase the quality of institutions and programs. It investigates about the reform that took place in 2014, referring to the implementation of accreditation and evaluation practices of university careers and its impacts after 10 years of their application. The rediscussing on university policies is considered a necessity to deepen the characteristics and organizational styles of universities in Peru. It should be considered that this is a generally continuous process and, therefore, it is possible that the information compiled in this document may be overtaken by events in a short period of time.
