Abstract
Negatively charged O 2 and H dc ion beams from the HVEC ion source were modulated with rf frequencies of 3 and 10 Mc/s. Beam pulses of 18 MeV O 16 ions nsec wide and of 6 MeV protons 7.0 nsec wide were measured with bunching factors of 13.5 respectively 8.0.
