Abstract
CaCO3-based bulk superhydrophobic material is synthesised by sequential silane and urethane chemistry. The cross-linked material displays a static contact angle of ~155° and a water-roll-off angle of 5–8° throughout the thickness which is attributed to 3D- hydrogen bonding.
