Abstract

Different new physics models can introduce new sources of CP violation in the neutrino oscillation probabilities. We studied the potential of the DUNE experiment to look for them, in the case of sterile neutrinos and Non-Standard Interactions, measuring only the CP asymmetries in different oscillation channels. We show that if a high energy flux will be used, the asymmetry related to the νμ → νe appearance channel could be very useful to search for hints of new physics.
