Abstract
A new broadside high gain H-plane SIW horn antenna is designed for future fifth generation (5G) applications. The proposed antenna is fed by substrate integrated rectangular coaxial cable. Moreover, the antenna has many advantages such as compact size, light weight, low cost, and low profile for no need to vertical plate. This antenna has a good impedance matching and achieved a high gain of 13.3 dBi in broadside direction. Furthermore, it has a good radiation performance.
