Abstract
The authors investigate the influence of the quantum-dot rough boundary on its electronic energy spectrum in an external magnetic field. The case in which roughness amplitude a is small in comparison to the quantum-dot radius R is considered. The authors show that the ratio of damping edge states to their energy level separation is dependent on binary roughness correlation function and changes in a linear or quadratic way with respect to a/R.
