Abstract

Botox improves dynamic wrinkles, especially on the upper third of the face, by causing temporary paralysis of the underlying muscles. In this prospective, randomized study, 15 women with periocular rhytides were given 2 units of Botox subdermally in each lower eyelid in the midpupillary line.
