Abstract

The Holstein-Primakoff boson mapping at finite temperature and in the framework of the thermo field dynamics (TFD) is applied to treat a fermion-boson Hamiltonian. The interaction between pairs of fermions and bosons is constructed in a model which allows for a condensate. The evolution of the condensate as a function of the temperature is investigated.
