Abstract
Elbow injuries are becoming increasingly common, especially among racquet and throwing sport athletes. Treatment of overuse injuries of the elbow continues to evolve. The purpose of this report is to discuss some of the more common bony overuse injuries of the elbow including osteochondritis dissecans of the capitellum, olecranon stress fractures, and valgus extension overload. Other less common entities include osteochondritis dissecans of the trochlea and medial epicondyle injuries. Diagnosis, current treatment recommendations, and rehabilitation are discussed.
