Abstract

Adhesives suitable for fracture fixation can unfold a paradigm shift toward personalized bone repairs. In article number 1800372, Michael Malkoch and co-workers describe a surgically feasible adhesive system that capitalizes on visible light thiol–ene coupling chemistry. Preclinical validation, performed via fiber-reinforced adhesive patch methodology, reveals an unprecedented fixation strength that surpasses commercial dental systems or clinically used K-wires and matches metal plates and screw implants.
