Recent years have witnessed a paradigm shift in the storage of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) on mobile cloud environments, where mobile devices are integrated with cloud computing to facilitate medical data exchanges among patients and healthcare providers. This advanced model enables healthcare services with low operational cost, high flexibility, and EHRs availability. However, this new paradigm also raises concerns about data privacy and network security for e-health systems. How to reliably share EHRs among mobile users while guaranteeing high-security levels in the mobile cloud is a challenging issue. In this paper, we propose a novel EHRs sharing framework that combines blockchain and the decentralized interplanetary file system (IPFS) on a mobile cloud platform. Particularly, we design a trustworthy access control mechanism using smart contracts to achieve secure EHRs sharing among different patients and medical providers. We present a prototype implementation using Ethereum blockchain in a real data sharing scenario on a mobile app with Amazon cloud computing. The empirical results show that our proposal provides an effective solution for reliable data exchanges on mobile clouds while preserving sensitive health information against potential threats. The system evaluation and security analysis also demonstrate the performance improvements in lightweight access control design, minimum network latency with high security and data privacy levels, compared to the existing data sharing models.

The maintenance of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) on mobile cloud platforms, in which mobile devices are incorporated with cloud computing to ease healthcare information exchange between healthcare providers and patients, has become a paradigm shift in latest days. This cutting-edge strategy makes it possible to provide medical care at a low overhead expense, with a high level of flexibility, and with electronic health record access. Furthermore, this new approach also expresses concern over the confidentiality of patient data and the safety of the networks that support e-health systems. It is a tough problem to figure out a way to effectively share EMRs amongst mobile users while also maintaining maximum security measures in mobile cloud environments. In this research, a novel framework is presented for the sharing of EMRs that integrates blockchain technology and the decentralized Interplanetary File System (DIFS) on a mobile cloud. The empirical results suggest that the concept offers a useful method for ensuring the reliability of data transfers on mobile clouds, while also preserving important patient data from any potential dangers that may arise. Comparing the results of this performance assessment and security analysis to those of previously implemented data sharing models reveals significant performance enhancements in areas such as lightweight access control method, minimal network latency, maximum security levels, and data privacy protections.

These days, there has been a paradigm shift in the upkeep of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in mobile cloud environments. This involves integrating cloud computing with mobile devices to facilitate the transmission of healthcare information between patients and healthcare professionals. With the help of this innovative approach, healthcare may be provided with a high degree of flexibility, minimal overhead costs, and electronic health record access. This new strategy also raises concerns about the security of the networks that enable e-health systems and the privacy of patient data. Finding a solution to efficiently distribute EMRs across mobile users in mobile cloud settings while also upholding the highest security standards is a challenging task. In this paper, explored two different distributed blockchain and cloud frameworks for EMR sharing that combine blockchain technology with a mobile cloud's Decentralised Interplanetary File System (DIFS). Based on the empirical findings, it seems that the idea provides a practical way to protect critical patient data from possible threats and guarantee the dependability of data transfers on mobile clouds. There are notable performance improvements in areas like data privacy protections, minimal network latency, maximum security levels, and lightweight access control when comparing the results of this security analysis and performance assessment to those of earlier data sharing models.

The purpose of this study is to address the persistent security and privacy challenges in cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) sharing by proposing a blockchain-enabled architecture that integrates decentralized storage and smart contracts. Traditional mobile cloud solutions improve data accessibility but rely on centralized control, making them vulnerable to unauthorized access, single points of failure, and limited patient transparency. To overcome these limitations, this research designs a user-centric access control framework that leverages the Ethereum blockchain, smart contracts, and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) within a mobile cloud environment. The methodology involves developing and deploying a prototype on Amazon Web Services, supported by an Android-based mobile application that enables healthcare providers and patients to interact with the blockchain network. Experimental evaluation was conducted using wearable sensor data to test the performance, scalability, and resilience of the proposed system. The findings indicate that the framework ensures secure EHR exchange, enforces fine-grained access policies, and achieves reduced latency compared to conventional centralized approaches. Unauthorized requests were reliably detected and blocked through the smart contract mechanism, while authorized users accessed records with minimal delay. The results also confirm the lightweight overhead of the system, making it practical for mobile healthcare environments. The practical implications of this work lie in offering a tamper-resistant, transparent, and patient-centric solution for medical data sharing, thereby improving trust, reducing administrative overhead, and supporting real-time healthcare services in distributed and resource-constrained settings.

ABSTRACTThe storage of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) on mobile cloud environments has undergone a paradigm shift in recent years, with mobile devices integrating with cloud computing to improve medical data transfers between patients and healthcare providers. This sophisticated paradigm allows for minimal operational costs, significant flexibility, and the use of electronic health records (EHRs). However, for e-health systems, this new paradigm poses concerns regarding data privacy and network security. It’s a challenging problem to exchange EHRs consistently among mobile users while maintaining high-security levels in the mobile cloud. It’s a challenging problem to exchange EHRs consistently among mobile users while maintaining high-security levels in the mobile cloud. Here, this paper intends to introduce a novel blockchain technology for secure health data in the cloud, which aids in ensuring authentication and offers integrity to medical records. Here, blockchain with optimal encryption is deployed via an improved blowfish model that also guarantees authentication features. Further, the optimal key generation is carried out by a new approach termed as Elephant Herding Optimization with Opposition-based Learning (EHO-OBL). Thus, the data integrity is maintained by the developed approach, and at last, the supremacy of the presented approach is proved concerning various measures. Accordingly, the key generation time of the proposed method has attained less value, and it was 51.04%, 91.48%, 92.64%, 91.48%, 89.99%, 91.06% and 91.48% better than traditional Blowfish, Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Elliptic-Curve Cryptography (ECC), Elephant Herding Optimization (EHO), Moth-Flame Optimization (MFO) and Whale Optimization (WOA) models, for file size of 10 kb.

Currently, there has been a paradigm shifted in the storing of electronic payment records (EPRs) on mobile distributed systems, wherein mobile devices are coupled with cloud computing to ease financial data transfers between consumers and stakeholders. This enhanced architecture allows low-cost online payment services with high versatility and EPR accessibility. Nevertheless, for e-payment platforms, such a new paradigm poses worries about data privacy and network security. A difficult challenge is how to reliably disseminate EPRs across mobile users while maintaining high-security security standards in the mobile cloud. This paper investigates and demonstrates the electronic payment approach of urban mobile pass cards’ dependability and excellence. Furthermore, on a mobile cloud platform, our technology integrates blockchain with the decentralized interplanetary file system (IPFS). We specifically create a reliable access control method on smart contracts to ensure secure EPR sharing across various clients and stakeholders. Our empirical results indicate that our concept provides a viable solution for data transfers on mobile clouds while protecting critical payment information from potential attacks. When compared to previous data sharing models, the system evaluation and security analysis show performance gains in lightweight access control architecture, minimal network latency with excellent security and data confidentiality levels.

The misuse of health data stored in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system can be uncontrolled. For example, mishandling of privacy and data security related to Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19), containing patient diagnosis and vaccine certificate in Indonesia. We propose a system framework design by utilizing the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) and Blockchain technology to overcome this problem. The IPFS environment supports a large data storage with a distributed network powered by Ethereum blockchain. The combination of this technology allows data stored in the EHR to be secure and available at any time. All data are secured with a blockchain cryptographic algorithm and can only be accessed using a user's private key. System testing evaluates the mechanism and process of storing and accessing data from 346 computers connected to the IPFS network and Blockchain by considering several parameters, such as gas unit, CPU load, network latency, and bandwidth used. The obtained results show that 135205 gas units are used in each transaction based on the tests. The average execution speed ranges from 12.98 to 14.08 GHz, 26 KB/s is used for incoming, and 4 KB/s is for outgoing bandwidth. Our contribution is in designing a blockchain-based decentralized EHR system by maximizing the use of private keys as an access right to maintain the integrity of COVID-19 diagnosis and certificate data. We also provide alternative storage using a distributed IPFS to maintain data availability at all times as a solution to the problem of traditional cloud storage, which often ignores data availability. Mobile cloud computing (MCC) is a big research topic in this modern technology-based era. This technology combines cloud computing with mobile computing in an innovative way to give better performance and cost-effective service to mobile users. MCC gives opportunities to execute different applications on the mobile devices by transferring the compute-intensive job to the cloud, but there are some problem arising in case of connectivity with mobile devices and cloud servers. To satisfy the user’s demand and accessing cloud server to offload, the task from mobile device to cloud in mobile cloud computing is a difficult job. According to our knowledge we know that the cloud computing has been built upon the growth of distributing computing and virtualization concept. Thus, efficient mapping of tasks to available resource in cost-effective way in the mobile cloud environment is a challenging issue. Our main aim is to allocate nodes to their respective resource at cloud server by maintaining optimal response time and increase the quality of service by maintaining both resource cost and computation performances in mobile cloud environment.

Mobile cloud computing has been involved as a key enabling technology to overcome the physical limitations of mobile devices toward scalable and flexible mobile services. In the mobile cloud environment, searchable encryption, which enables direct search over encrypted data, is a key technique to maintain both the privacy and usability of outsourced data in cloud. On addressing the issue, many research efforts resolve to using the searchable symmetric encryption (SSE) and searchable public-key encryption (SPE). In this paper, we improve the existing works by developing a more practical searchable encryption technique, which can support dynamic updating operations in the mobile cloud applications. Specifically, we make our efforts on taking the advantages of both the SSE and SPE techniques, and propose PSU, a Personalized Search scheme over encrypted data with efficient and secure Updates in mobile cloud. By giving thorough security analysis, we demonstrate that the PSU can achieve a high security level. Using extensive experiments in a real-world mobile environment, we show that the PUS is more efficient compared with the existing proposals.
