Abstract
In this paper, a novel single channel blind separation method for the downlink mixed signals of Paired Carrier Multiple Access (PCMA) is proposed by means of an available particular known signal in cooperative communication. The critical idea is that the known source signal on one side of earth station antenna in PCMA serves as a guided signature to assist blind signal separation. In contrast to the conventional scheme, the channel parameter estimation operation is eliminated and computational complexity is lower. Furthermore the proposed algorithm can effectively overcome the self-interference caused by imperfect estimation or estimation error problem. Simulation results corroborate the validity of the proposed algorithm.
