Abstract

AbstractA well‐defined bis‐dianionic β‐ketoiminato octalithium complex was employed as an efficient catalyst for the hydrosilylation of aldehydes and ketones. Various corresponding alcohols were obtained in high yields with functional group tolerance. In addition, the catalytic system can also be applied to the cyanosilylation of a broad range of aldehydes and ketones with down to 0.05 mol % catalyst loadings.
