Abstract

In this chapter, based on the general formulas of Chap. 2, we will describe two models of bio-mimetic swimmers designed to imitate swimming patterns of a frog and a clam in a horizontal plane. Once again, we will view this situation as the case of “swimmers in a 2D incompressible fluid.”
