Abstract

The description of swan neck deformity secondary to IP joint flexion contracture following FPL repair in zone T1 is not documented in literature. The purpose of this presentation is to present a biomechanical analysis of this challenging clinical complication to help guide preventative and corrective treatments to maximize functional use of the thumb.
