Abstract

Bio-based polymer materials with multichannel self-healing ability as intelligent sensor have received significant attention. However, to date, study on bio-based vitrimer composites with multichannel self-healing ability as early temperature and fire warning sensors has never been reported. In this study, We prepared bio-based polyschiff vitrimers using vanillin and tung oil as raw materials, which possessed excellent self-healing and reprocessability. The electricity, heat and electromagnetic wave triggered self-healing of bio-based polyschiff vitrimers with graphene were achieved. A practicable strategy for fabricating bio-based via composite graphene oxide were developed as an efficient temperature warning sensor and fire warning sensor. These multifunctional bio-based polyschiff vitrimer composites developed could greatly promote its practical application in fire/high temperature prevention and protection applications in various critical fire risk and related perilous circumstances.
