Abstract
June 5, 2019 It is a pleasure to introduce this supplement of Pediatric Blood & Cancer which contains manuscripts from the Robert J. Arceci Best of IPSO session from the 27th Meeting of IPSO (International Society of Pediatric Surgical Oncology) held in Kyoto, Japan in November of 2018. ISPO is a sister organization to SIOP. Their meetings are held in conjunction annually and feature many sessions dealing with multiple pediatric solid tumors. The Robert J. Arceci Best of IPSO session is composed of the top-rated abstracts submitted for presentation at the meeting. Hence, they cover multiple topics and truly highlight the efforts of our members. Dr. Arceci, the former editor of Pediatric Blood & Cancer was a strong supporter of our organization and hence, this session is named in his honor. It is a pleasure to have this first supplement published in his honor. We look forward to a long relationship with Pediatric Blood & Cancer in disseminating the work of our members through its broad circulation to not only surgeons but pediatric oncologists, pediatric radiotherapists and other specialties. I hope and trust you will find these articles of value in your practice.
