Abstract
The addition of protic nucleophiles H 2X (X= O, S, NPh) to the phosphinoketene complexes Cp(CO)(PMe 3)ClWPR 2(Tol)C=C=O (R = Me, Ph) affords the organometallics derivatives of γ-lactones, γ-thiolactones and γ-lactames by the elimination of hydrogen chloride. Preparation and spectroscopic data of these novel chelate complexes are reported.
