Abstract

This article describes the synthesis of a novel Benzothiazole/Palladium immobilized on Magnetic Core-Shell with Carbon and Titanium dioxide Shells (Fe3O4@Carbon@TiO2-benzothiazole/Pd) characterized and its catalytic application was investigated. The physicochemical properties of This nanocatalyst was characterized by several techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). The advantages of this nanostructure were high thermal, chemical stability, and uniform size of nanoparticles. Fe3O4@Carbon@TiO2-benzothiazole/Pd core–shell was used as an efficient and powerful catalyst for preparation of Sonogashira coupling derivatives reaction with a high yield (62–97%), also was reused for eight cycles of reaction without significantly reducing activity.
