Abstract
Measurements of C p and magnetocaloric effect down to ≈0.08K on the singlet ground state system [C(NH 2) 3]V(SO 4) 2 ⊙6H 2O with H‖ C 3 axis suggest an approach to long-range magnetic order for 40 ⪅ H ‖ ⪅ 42 kOe near T ≈0.08K due to interactions too small to produce order in zero-field.
