Abstract

This chapter discusses a model based on medical social networks to assess breast cancer risk that is different from the existing model based on mathematical statistics method. It describes the unique design of the selection method for related risk factors of breast cancer that cause the model to have good generality and the ability to be generalized to other countries and regions. The chapter reviews related works on existing risk assessment models and some emerging information technology for health and medicine. It introduces the idea of breast cancer risk assessment model (BCRAM) and presents the corresponding algorithm. In the realization algorithm, when different rrfs are used, the network construction and division methods are the same. BCRAM computes the similarity of rrfs and constructs a weighted or unweighted medical social network. BCRAM is used to discover the breast cancer high-risk group.
