Abstract

The multiple judicial decisions in favour of those who invested in Bankia's IPO have posed a serious problem for this major Spanish credit institution. This situation has been made even more complicated for the bank by the two judgments recently issued by the Supreme Court, whereby the invalidity of the purchase of shares was acknowledged and the bank was ordered to refund the investments made by the plaintiffs.
