Abstract

We report on experimental investigations of the planetary ball milling process parameters which drive the stationary dynamic end-product structure. On the basis of experiments which have been performed by means of a newly designed ball milling system allowing the independent variation of the shock energy and the shock frequency as well as the mean temperature of the vials, a parameter phase diagrams has been obtained for the ball-milled Ni 10Zr 7 intermetallic phase.
