Abstract

There is a great deal to be said about the Vietnam-Cambodia conflict. It's something about which I've thought very deeply, because having been involved in the solidarity struggles with the Vietnamese people from the early 1960s, it has been very difficult for me, as well as for the countless others who have been in solidarity with the Vietnamese, to draw correct conclusions from the present situation and to attempt to come to grips with it, and to reconcile the problems that arise because of the new situation in Southeast Asia.This article can also be found at the Monthly Review website, where most recent articles are published in full.Click here to purchase a PDF version of this article at the Monthly Review website.
