Abstract

Studies on sophisticated coordination geometries of actinides in solid‐state compounds provide useful hints on improving nuclear waste management. We report here in this work two distinct uranium compounds that simultaneously contain all three typical coordination geometries of the uranyl ion. Additionally, compound 1 displays an atypical temperature‐induced single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal phase transformation and luminescence evolution.
