Uddin et al. measured the doping effect on exciton behaviours in amorphous tris (8-hydroxyquinolinato) aluminum (Alq3) films and describe it in their article on pp. 80ff. The picture shows the photoluminescence decay curve in Alq3:DCM films for three different doping concentrations compared to pure Alq3. The exciton recombination rate was found to sharply increase with doping while the exciton lifetime was reduced.
