Abstract

DOI: 10.1002/jssc.202100835 The cover picture shows the separation of a chiral substance (represented by a pair of hands) using cyclodextrin as mobile phase additive in open-tubular liquid chromatography with a pseudophase coating. The pseudophase was didodecyldimethyl ammonium bromide (white spheres) on top of alternating layers of a polyanion (red layer) and a polycation (blue layer). The cyclodextrin discriminated between the two enantiomers (represented by the left and right hands), resulting in chiral separation.
