Abstract

The averaged weak energy condition (AWEC) is examined in the light of wormhole geometries with torsion. An example of ultraelectrostatic wormhole with torsion and spinning particles as an exact solutions of Einstein–Cartan (EC) field equations of gravity is given. An upper bound for the spin energy density allowed inside the wormhole in space–times with torsion is obtained.
