Abstract

Osteonecrosis of Jaw is a condition in which the vascular supply of the jaw bone is jeopardised leading to a series of clinical manifestations based on the stage of the disease process. It shows specific histopathological features and the treatment is based on the etiology and stage of the disease process. The following case is of osteonecrosis of maxilla due to suspected deep fungal infection owing to the immune compromised state of the patient following post viral dengue fever hospitalization.
