Abstract

The motive of this paper is to build an obstacle-avoidance car that starts moving with the detection of the human eye (driver here) and immediately stops when the driver’s eyes are closed for more than the normal human blinking time. This scenario is all about drowsiness and the drunken driver. It can reduce the number of accidents that occur due to the drowsiness of drivers. The system consists of a car with ultrasonic sensors, a microprocessor, and a microcontroller. Depending on the sensors, the microprocessor directs the controller to move the car in the desired direction. Face and eye detection are done on a separate system and are connected to the vehicle wirelessly. Generally, we have combined both the microprocessor and the microcontroller to ease the working of the microcontroller.
