Abstract
The ability to determine the localization of nervous system disorders plays a central role in neurological diagnosis. Undoubtedly, the introduction of computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging into medical practice was the significant advance in clinical diagnostics. However, neurovisualization often requires reinforcement with a description of disease clinical manifestations. The article describes the possibilities of the program developed by the authors for recognizing the most probable localization of the nervous system affected area and evaluating the available symptoms and signs in the chance theory terms of specific disease presence.

ФГУП «Научно-исследовательский институт гигиены, токсикологии и профпатологии» Федерального медико-биологического агентства. Способность определять локализацию поражений нервной системы играет центральную роль в неврологической диагностике. Безусловно, внедрение в медицинскую практику компьютерной и магнитно-резонансной томографии явилось существенным прогрессом в клинической диагностике. Однако нейровизуализация часто требует подкрепления описанием клинических проявлений заболевания. В статье представлено описание возможностей разработанной авторами программы распознавания наиболее вероятной локализации области поражения нервной системы и оценки имеющихся симптомов и признаков с позиций теории вероятности наличия конкретного заболевания.
