Abstract

Present a bibliometric analysis of 1432 publications in Indian research in atypical antipsychotic drugs (AADs) during 1998-2013, using publications indexed in Scopus database. The study identified the global publication share and rank of Indian research output among the 15 most productive countries and examined the distribution of citations of the Indian research output, the share of international collaborative publications in Indian publication output and identification of the leading India’s collaborating partners, the distribution of Indian research output by broad subject areas, by individual drugs and by disease; publication productivity and the citation impact of leading Indian institutions; the media of communication and the characteristics of the high cited publications
