Abstract

The objective of this work was to evaluate the fruit attributes of yellow passion fruit cultivated in lysimeters, irrigated with non saline and saline water, with use of bovine biofertilizer and mulching. Completely randomized block experimental design was used with a 2 3 factorial arrangement, three repetitions and 72 experimental units. Treatments were irrigated with non saline (0.5 dS m -1 ) and saline (4.5 dS m -1 ) water, in holes with and without bovine biofertilizer, with and without mulching. After harvesting fresh mass, width, length, format index, thickness and percentage of skin, number of seeds, pulp mass, juice mass, pH, pulp revenue, soluble solids, titratable acidity, SS/TA ratio and vitamin C content were evaluated. Treatments with bovine biofertilizer and mulching presented weightier fruits, independently of saline water level. Bovine biofertilizer affected fruit skin thickness, soluble solids and titratable acidity. The highest vitamin C contents were obtained in fruits from two treatments: irrigated with non saline water and biofertilized, and irrigated with saline water, not biofertilized and with mulching.
