Abstract

We present a case of atresia of the distal ileum, diagnosed during routine ultrasound in the 32nd week of gestation (figures 1, 2 and 3). A 1900 g infant was delivered by caesarean section at 35 weeks, and had successful correction of the atresia twenty-four hours later.
