Abstract
We have estimated the electron asymmetry induced by final electromagnetic interaction in inelastic scattering on a polarized target near the Δ(1236 MeV) resonance. The nucleon and the Δ-intermediate states only are considered. Unexpectedly, the nucleon contribution remains dominant for almost all energies. For incident energies larger than 5 GeV a maximum effect around 1% is found.
