Abstract
Abstract A palladium-catalyzed asymmetric bis(alkoxycarbonylation) reaction of terminal olefins in the presence of copper(I) triflate was achieved by using a chiral bioxazoline ligand, (4S,4′S)-4,4′-dibenzyl-4,4′,5,5′-tetrahydro-2,2′-bioxazole, under normal pressure of carbon monoxide and oxygen at 25 °C to give the corresponding optically active mono-substituted succinates with enantioselectivity up to 66% ee.
