Abstract

Purpose: The role of acquired and inherited abnormalities in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) have not been fully understood. Our aim was to determine the prevalence of single and associated prothrombotic abnormalities in a population in Northern Portugal with IBD during active and inactive periods of disease.
