Abstract

In this article, we study the Barboza-Alcaniz-Zhu-Silva–type redshift parameterization of dark energy. We constrain the free parameters of the model under differential ages data. We study the natures of the universe with the model for different parametric values. We show that the fractional dimensionless density parameter for dark energy grows up with time and have started to dominate that of matter since the recent past. We find out some cases where future deceleration takes place. We analyse the space of statefinder parameters.
