This study examined the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting the mathematics education of students with special educational needs (SEN). Thirty peer-reviewed articles were analysed to examine (i) the types of AI technologies implemented in mathematics education, (ii) evidence on the effectiveness of AI interventions in improving learning, (iii) the benefits and limitations of AI in special education, (iv) comparisons of AI applications with traditional methods in terms of personalisation, engagement, and accessibility, and (v) applications of AI in supporting specific disabilities. The findings indicated that intelligent games, chatbots, personalised learning systems, and intelligent tutoring systems were the most frequently utilised AI-powered tools. All studies assessing effectiveness reported positive impacts on mathematical achievement, as well as benefits such as reduced mathematics anxiety, increased motivation, and enhanced independence among learners. Reported challenges included high costs, ethical concerns, teacher preparedness, and a digital divide limiting equitable access. Compared to traditional methods, AI offers more accurate diagnosis of learning difficulties, greater opportunities for personalised learning, and increased accessibility. AI showed promise in addressing specific disabilities such as dyscalculia and autism through adaptive and diagnostic tools. The review concluded that AI should be viewed as a complementary tool that extends teachers’ capacity to individualise mathematics instruction for students with SEN. In the era of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) has become important innovation in the world of education, including in the evaluation of learning Islamic Religious Education. This research aims to examine the optimization the application of AI in Islamic Religious Education evaluation, the challenges faced, and the future potential the future. With a qualitative approach based on literature review, this research analyzing literature related to the application of AI in the context of Islamic education. Results The study shows that AI is capable of enhancing the effectiveness of evaluating cognitive aspects. Cognitive through digital quizzes and real-time data analysis systems, as well as starting reaching affective and psychomotor aspects with technology such as chatbots, facial recognition, and virtual reality. However, a number of challenges also arise, among others, the limitations of AI in capturing the spiritual dimension, the potential for algorithmic bias algorithmic, ethical and data privacy issues, as well as teacher readiness and infrastructure. In the future, AI has great potential to become a comprehensive and personal, if the application of AI in learning and evaluation can be supervised in an ethical and still making teachers the central figure in the formation of values and character. This research recommends a synergy between technology developers, educators, and Sharia experts in developing a human-centered AI-based evaluation system and in accordance with Islamic values.

Introduction: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping education by facilitating adaptive, personalized, and data-informed learning experiences. Through intelligent tutoring systems, predictive analytics, and AI-powered feedback mechanisms, educators can tailor instruction to meet diverse learner needs while enhancing efficiency and engagement across both traditional and digital learning environments.Objective: this study aims to examine the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education for promoting personalized learning, while upholding key ethical standards. Method: A short communication methodology was employed to synthesize recent developments in AI applications in education. Relevant literature published between 2018 and 2025 was identified through searches of databases including PubMed, Scopus, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar. Studies were selected based on criteria related to the use of AI in personalized learning, assessment, instructional design, and administrative automation. Data were thematically analyzed to evaluate the benefits, implementation strategies, and challenges associated with AI integration.Results: AI-driven tools were found to significantly enhance educational outcomes by enabling proactive (e.g., curriculum design, predictive enrollment analysis) and reactive (e.g., real-time tutoring, automated grading) engagement. Platforms like adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring tools, and AI-driven assessment software have enabled personalized learning experiences and eased administrative tasks. However, significant challenges persist, including concerns over data privacy, algorithmic bias, digital literacy gaps, and unequal access to technological infrastructure.Conclusion: AI technologies hold substantial promise in creating more personalized, inclusive, and effective educational ecosystems. By streamlining teaching processes and supporting learner-centered models, AI enhances both pedagogical impact and academic performance. However, ethical concerns and infrastructural barriers must be addressed to ensure responsible and sustainable adoption. Future efforts should focus on aligning AI development with equity, transparency, and accessibility in education.

This literature review examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in education and their potential to personalize and improve student learning experiences. A range of AI-assisted systems have been developed for personalized learning, adaptive testing, intelligent tutoring systems, learning analytics, and content creation (Warren and Domingue, 2015; Prendes and Torres, 2018). These systems use AI to adapt the learning experience to the individual needs of each student, with the goal of improving student learning outcomes (Chen and Wang, 2016). However, more research is needed to fully understand the capabilities and limitations of AI in education, as well as to address the ethical and societal implications of using AI in education, such as concerns about privacy and bias (Irfan and Iftekhar, 2017). Additionally, the literature review highlights the potential of emerging areas such as virtual reality education and educational game design to personalize and improve student learning experiences (Irfan and Iftekhar, 2021). The review concludes that while AI and ML has the potential to personalize and improve student learning experiences, it's important to consider the ethical and societal implications and conduct more research to fully understand the capabilities and limitations of AI in education

It has been a long time since games and artificial intelligence(AI) influenced each other. However, when it comes to the area of the application of AI in games most people talk about chess games. AI also plays an important role in First-person shooter games. First-person shooter games, also known as FPS games, provide abundant testing environments for developing and testing artificial intelligence algorithms too, and the advances in artificial intelligence have allowed the game industry to produce better FPS games. This essay is a iterature review that summarizes why and how people apply AI in FPS games, in both players aspect and the game industry aspect. This essay briefly introduce the current research status, analyzes current challenges, and predicts future research directions by studying the application of artificial intelligence in FPS games as well as introduce the application of artificial intelligence in FPS games, explore the application of artificial intelligence in the gaming industry and its impact on FPS game development, and provide reference information for relevant research work.

An Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) is critical in education because it provides one to one personalized teaching assistance to learners as they educate how to solve problems through guidance and prompt feedback. ITS is one application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. It provides a smart learning environment for students without intervention from the teacher. ITS's primary goal is to support and help learners obtain domain-specific intellectual knowledge in a practical and productive manner through the use of different computing technologies. This paper presents a comprehensive survey for previous research on ITS that utilize various techniques of AI and Machine Learning (ML). It gives an overview of ITS, its architecture, and some existing ITS examples. In addition, it highlights and summarizes the current research efforts and obstacles to ITS using AI, as well as some future opportunities. This study shows the importance of AI and ML in ITS development. It is noticed that researchers focus more on Reinforcement Learning (RL), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), clustering, Bayesian Network (BN) and Fuzzy Logic (FL) approaches.

The Potential of Artificial Intelligence as the Learning Ecosystem of the Future in Adult Religious Education

In today's information society, the rapid pace of technological advancements and the increasing complexity of information processing necessitate that individuals acquire a broader and more diverse set of skills. In this dynamic environment, adopting innovative approaches in education has become essential for individuals to develop their competencies and keep pace with the demands of the era. This study aims to examine the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in adult religious education and to evaluate how these technologies can contribute to learning processes. The research investigates whether AI systems function as mechanisms that completely replace the roles of religious educators or as tools that enhance existing educational processes. The study employs a qualitative methodology to understand the impact of AI in adult religious education. Initially, a detailed review of literature in cognitive sciences, AI technologies, computer sciences, and adult religious education was conducted. This review provided a comprehensive understanding of the development and applications of AI technologies in education while also identifying existing research gaps. The literature review also covered the historical role of AI in education and the innovations it offers today. Furthermore, the study analyzed the effectiveness of innovative applications such as intelligent tutoring systems, personalized learning platforms, gamification tools, and virtual reality technologies. The degree to which these systems address the individual needs of adult learners was evaluated through detailed analysis. The research also placed special emphasis on ethical considerations, addressing issues such as data privacy, human-machine interaction, and the limitations of AI in transmitting values. Proposed solutions to mitigate these challenges were presented. These ethical discussions also encompassed the question of how technology can align with a human-centered approach, forming an integral part of the study. All data were evaluated using thematic analysis, providing a comprehensive understanding of the role of AI in religious education. The findings indicate that AI technologies hold significant potential in adult religious education. However, these technologies cannot fully replicate the indispensable roles of human educators, such as fostering empathy, providing ethical guidance, and offering spiritual support. The most effective use of AI in education lies in its role as a complementary tool that enhances existing processes. Technological innovations, particularly gamification and virtual reality applications, demonstrate significant potential to make learning experiences more engaging. However, challenges were observed regarding adult learners’ adaptation to these innovations. Personalized learning platforms offer structured support in areas such as text interpretation, exploring ethical issues, and learning ritual practices, effectively addressing individual learning needs. Nonetheless, the importance of human-centered pedagogical approaches in developing emotional intelligence, social belonging, and critical thinking has been reaffirmed. Therefore, AI technologies demonstrate potential in supporting personalized learning and enhancing student engagement in religious education. However, their integration must prioritize the preservation of pedagogical values and the reinforcement of educators’ guiding roles. This ensures that technological advancements can be utilized while maintaining the human-centered nature of education.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications for Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) in Low-Resource Settings: A Scoping Review.

Advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) for point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) have ushered in new possibilities for medical diagnostics in low-resource settings. This review explores the current landscape of AI applications in POCUS across these environments, analyzing studies sourced from three databases-SCOPUS, PUBMED, and Google Scholars. Initially, 1196 records were identified, of which 1167 articles were excluded after a two-stage screening, leaving 29 unique studies for review. The majority of studies focused on deep learning algorithms to facilitate POCUS operations and interpretation in resource-constrained settings. Various types of low-resource settings were targeted, with a significant emphasis on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), rural/remote areas, and emergency contexts. Notable limitations identified include challenges in generalizability, dataset availability, regional disparities in research, patient compliance, and ethical considerations. Additionally, the lack of standardization in POCUS devices, protocols, and algorithms emerged as a significant barrier to AI implementation. The diversity of POCUS AI applications in different domains (e.g., lung, hip, heart, etc.) illustrates the challenges of having to tailor to the specific needs of each application. By separating out the analysis by application area, researchers will better understand the distinct impacts and limitations of AI, aligning research and development efforts with the unique characteristics of each clinical condition. Despite these challenges, POCUS AI systems show promise in bridging gaps in healthcare delivery by aiding clinicians in low-resource settings. Future research endeavors should prioritize addressing the gaps identified in this review to enhance the feasibility and effectiveness of POCUS AI applications to improve healthcare outcomes in resource-constrained environments.

This paper explores the benefits and limitations of AI in English language learning, examining its impact on students development and the role of educators in mitigating potential drawbacks. The findings highlight AIs potential to transform language education while emphasizing the need for a balanced approach that integrates human instruction with AI capabilities. Differences in Knowledge and Perspectives on the Usage of Artificial Intelligence Among Doctors and Medical Students of a Developing Country: A Cross-Sectional Study

IntroductionRapid advancements are being made in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support digital healthcare transformation and provide evidence-based care. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to evaluate the knowledge of basic principles, limitations, and applications of AI in healthcare among medical students and doctors of a developing country.MethodsTwo free webinars were hosted for doctors and medical students in northern India (Punjab state) to create awareness about the role of AI in healthcare and the recent advancements made in various medical specialties. The delegates’ perceptions about their knowledge and interest in AI were ascertained using the Likert scale (1 = low, 5 = high) in the post-event questionnaire. Using Chi-square and cross-tabulation analysis, associations were examined between knowledge of AI, gender, medical experience, and other variables.ResultsOut of the total of 621 registrants, 367 filled the post-event questionnaire and were included in the analysis. Although the majority felt that AI will play an important role in delivering healthcare services in the future (74.4%), they did not feel knowledgeable about the applications (79.6%) and limitations of AI (82.8%). A relatively lesser proportion of doctors (51.6%) felt interested to learn more about AI than medical students (69.3%). Furthermore, a lesser proportion of doctors (65.2%) felt that AI will be beneficial for their career as a doctor as compared with medical students (84.4%). The majority of medical students (83.5%) had never attended any webinar/lecture or course on AI in healthcare and felt that they have received minimal advice (80.7%) from their medical school on teaching about AI and its applications. A significantly (P = 0.001) higher proportion of female medical students were unknowledgeable about the principles and applications of AI than male respondents. However, female medical students were significantly (P = 0.004) more interested than male medical students to learn about AI.ConclusionsFormal training courses to teach about AI should be focused on to facilitate coherent and scientifically supported dissemination of knowledge in medical schools and hospitals. Further large-scale studies are needed to understand the perception and attitude of medical students and doctors regarding AI to steer policy development and medical education curriculum changes to spark an interest in emerging technologies and drive innovation.

With the continuous development of artificial intelligence technologies, its application in the field of education has attracted increasing attention. The purpose of the study is to analyze the possibilities and prospects of using artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency of the educational process and achieve educational equality. The article discusses various applications of artificial intelligence in education, including personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, intelligent assessment and more. The research methods in the philosophical context are literature review, dialectical analysis of some typical cases of AI applications in education, and relevant statistical data. This article provides a comparative analysis of typical cases of applying artificial intelligence in the field of education, reveals successful experiences and possible risks, and provides links and suggestions for quantitative assessment of educational results and the practice of using innovative teaching methods. The article reviews existing literature and relevant studies, summarizes the advantages and problems of artificial intelligence in education, suggests future development trends and explores how artificial intelligence technology can improve the quality of education and promote educational equality. The study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. A comparative analysis of the countries with different levels of educational technologies was also conducted. In the course of the work, the author has identified the following key risks: design flaws in the intelligent tutoring system, the need to improve learning outcomes and satisfaction with personalized learning, data security and student privacy protection issues, and fairness issues in the use of AI technology. The discussion of the research results shows that risk mitigation strategies may include the use of flexible and diverse learning system tools, comprehensive and diverse design of personalized learning paths to enhance the viability and interactivity of learning, the use of assessment systems with data encryption, anonymization, and access control to ensure that students’ confidential information is not leaked. The research results can be used to develop strategies for implementing artificial intelligence in the educational process and creating more effective curricula.
