To ensure that patients are suitable for medical aesthetic procedures, psychological assessment should form part of the initial consultation. However, to complete this task, the right tools need to be in place. In this debate feature, cosmetic surgery counsellor Deborah Sandler discusses whether psychological screening tools are appropriate to use for both patients and aesthetic practitioners
