The transformation processes of the strategy implementation mechanism's goals for ensuring the enterprise's economic security depending on the change in the general strategic objectives of the enterprise are presented. The structure of the tool for implementing the strategy for ensuring the economic security of the enterprise has been developed, detailing the formation of its elements. It was determined that the mechanism includes seven main features with their corresponding content depending on the characteristics of the enterprise itself and the institutional environment of its functioning. It has been proven that the direct connection between the elements of such a mechanism is manifested through its action. The main subjects capable of initiating the launch and functioning of the appropriate tool through the adoption of management decisions are company owners, company management, and employees of the company's economic security service. The action of the proposed mechanism has a cyclical nature and is implemented on a systemic basis. The intensity of the reaction of the relevant subjects significantly depends on the influence of the environment, the state of the economic security system in a specific time range, and the assessment of the effectiveness of achieving strategic goals. Competitive wars and other unforeseen circumstances create the need for an operational response of the management system in general and the economic security system, which actualizes the definition of a specific list of tools that can be used under certain standard and non-standard conditions of activity of a specific business entity. Keywords: strategy, mechanism, economic security, management decisions, adaptation.
