Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of the comprehensive nursing on reducing the intraoperative complication of the combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in obstetrics and gynecology .Methods Two hundred and eighty patients with the combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in obstetrics and gynecology were chosen and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table , each with 140 cases.The control group received the routine nursing during the operation , and the observation group received the psychological nursing and intraoperative nursing according to the intraoperative complication on the basis of the routine nursing . The incidence rate of intraoperative complication and the patients ’ satisfaction were compared between two groups .Results The incidence rate of intraoperative complication and the patients ’ satisfaction were respectively 27.86%and 94.29%in the observation group , and were 57.86% and 80.71%in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ^2 =25.73,11.79, respectively; P〈0.01).Conclusions Application of the detailed and comprehensive humanistic nursing measures in the patients with the combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in obstetrics and gynecology can effectively reduce the incidence rate of intraoperative complication , and improve the patients ’ satisfaction.
