Abstract

Objective To discuss the application effect of strengthening the respiratory tract management in the nursing of the preoperative thoracic surgery.Methods We chose 76 hospitalized patients for elective surgery from thoracic surgery department,according to the order of admission they were randomly divided into two groups (observation group and control group),38 cases for each group.The control group was treated with the routine care of thoracic surgery,and nursed by the conventional care of strengthening the respiratory tract,the observation group was nursed by the strengthening respiratory tract on the basis of the control group.And we observed the situation of the lung function improvement,and compared postoperative complications and discharges.Results Postoperative lung function improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05),the incidence of postoperative complications of the control group was higher than that of the observation group (P < 0.05),the hospitalization of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusions Strengthening the respiratory tract plays an important role in the thoracic surgery preoperative preparation and postoperative care,good respiratory care can improve lung function and reduce the incidence of postoperative respiratory complications and shorten hospital stay,and promote patients' recovery,which should be widely applied in clinical nursing care.
