Abstract

Taking oolitic beach reservoir of plateau slop zone in Longgang area of Sichuan basin as study object, non-well-constrained seismic inversion method, operating on both pre-stack and post-stack data, was used to predict reservoirs in a zone without drilled wells. This method takes full advantage of high resolution in pre-stack inversion with high efficiency and strong noiseproof ability in post-stack inversion, and uses theory of genetic algorithm to construct virtual wells in control points by pre-stack full wave inversion, after that, the virtual wells are applied for post-stack impedance inversion to predict reservoirs. Non-well-constrained seismic inversion technology is one of effective method in reservoir prediction of zones without drilled wells and has great application prospect.
