Abstract
In order to facilitate the utilization of single-chip microcomputers for adaptive control some extremely simple algorithms have been developed. The simplicity has been achieved by using performance criteria based on geometrical properties of the control error process while the adaptation acts like an ordinary control loop. No identification, no mathematical model of the controlled system and no special test signals are needed.
