Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of case teaching method in the course of Nursing Management. Methods 124 nursing students were divided into two groups. The students in the experimental group (n = 62 ) received case teaching method, while the students in the control group ( n = 62 ) received traditional teaching methods in the course of Nursing Management. Then, the effects of teaching were evaluated by examination and table analysis. Results Case model is proved to be better than the traditional education model in Nursing Management Teaching. The results of table analysis also show that case model is more suitable to the most students in clinical thought culture and autonomous study motivation. Conclusions Case teaching method can improve the effect of Nursing Management Teaching. Key words: Case teaching method; Nursing management
