Abstract

Circuit course is a compulsory specialized basic course of Electrical Engineering. The following problems existed in the teaching of circuit course in colleges and universities, such as the lack of good guided instance, insufficient student participation and effective feedback. The BOPPPS teaching model emphasizes the student-centered modular teaching model, aiming to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching. Research has proved that BOPPPS is an effective model for teachers to design and organize teaching in the classroom. Therefore, BOPPPS model is applied to classroom teaching in this paper. The teaching content of Loop Current Method is designed according to the six aspects in BOPPPS model including bridge-in, objective, pre-assessment, participatory learning, post-assessment and summary, and then applied to classroom practice. By this way, we can effectively solve the problems in existing circuit course teaching, inspire students' interest in learning, and achieve better teaching effect.
