Abstract

Apple is unveiling an accessible coding program called Everyone Can Code that is geared toward helping students with hearing, vision, or other assistive needs learn to code. The coding program uses a programming language called Swift that is designed to let students intuitively learn and write code. “We created Everyone Can Code because we believe all students deserve an opportunity to learn the language of technology. We hope to bring Everyone Can Code to even more schools around the world serving students with disabilities,” said Tim Cook, Apple chief executive officer.
