Abstract
Porous titanium is produced by the powder metallurgy method. Dependenceof the electrical conductivity on the porosity and pore size isinvestigated and the experimental results are compared with a number ofmodels. It is found that the minimum solid area model could besuccessfully applied to describe the relationship between the electricalconductivity and the porosity of porous titanium. This kind ofconductivity increases with increasing pore sizes.
