APLIKASI TAZKIYATUN NAFS DALAM PSIKOTERAPI ISLAM
This research also focuses on how to describe the concept of tazkiyah an-nafs as a method of purifying the soul in Islam with a focus on its main principles and stages. The method used in this research is Library Research or (Library Study), namely data collection by reading existing literature either using books, notes, or research results from previous studies that have something to do with the article to be discussed. Tazkiyatun nafs is a central concept in Islam that refers to the process of purifying the soul and heart from all moral impurities, such as despicable traits and sins. This process aims to achieve moral and spiritual perfection and get closer to Allah SWT. The main goal of tazkiyatun nafs is to form individuals who have noble character, faith, and piety. By cleansing the heart of liver disease, individuals can be more open to receiving knowledge and wisdom. Tazkiyah al-nafs is also the key to achieving inner peace and true happiness. Through various methods, namely (1) cleaning the soul from despicable traits (takhalli) (2) adorning the soul with praiseworthy traits (tahalli) and (3) revealing the veil to Allah SWT because the condition of the soul is pure (tajall).

Mental health issues in today’s world are a major concern that must be addressed. Tazkiyah al-nafs emerges as a significant answer to the problem in this context. Tazkiyah al-nafs is primarily concerned with purifying the soul, cleansing the heart of desire and greed, and bringing one closer to Allah. Abu Bakar Atjeh, a well-known Indonesian scholar, believes that tazkiyah al-nafs is one of the most effective medications for people suffering from mental health conditions. Hence, this article aims to explore the concept of tazkiyah al-nafs by Abu Bakar Atjeh and its relevance in addressing mental health problems. This study is library research with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained using documentation techniques, and the collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The research concludes that there are two ways to achieve mental health through the tazkiyah al-nafs method, namely khalwah and żikr. The conclusion in this paper is that tazkiyah al-nafs has a positive and comprehensive impact because of its holistic and spiritual-based approach so that these concepts of khalwah and żikr in tazkiyah al-nafs can be applied to various mental health problems.

The concept of tazkiyah al-nafs (purification of the soul) holds an important position in the Islamic tradition as it serves as the key to human spiritual and psychological development. Without purification of the soul, it is difficult for a person to achieve holistic growth, both in the inner dimension (faith and peace of heart) and in the dimension of personality (mind, morals, and character). Therefore, the study of tazkiyah al-nafs is highly relevant in efforts to understand the comprehensive formation of human personality. This research aims to examine the concept of tazkiyah al-nafs from the perspective of Qur’anic exegesis as well as the ethical-sufi thought presented in Mi‘rāj al-Sa‘ādah by Aḥmad al-Narāqī. The method employed is qualitative with a library research approach, utilizing primary sources including the Qur’an, both classical and contemporary exegesis, and al-Narāqī’s work. The findings indicate that tazkiyah al-nafs is an internal process of cleansing the soul from blameworthy traits and adorning it with noble character. The Qur’an repeatedly emphasizes this concept, as in Q.S. Ash-Shams [91]: 9–10, which highlights the success of the purified soul. Meanwhile, in Mi‘rāj al-Sa‘ādah, al-Narāqī elaborates the stages of tazkiyah through self-knowledge, mujāhadah (striving), riyāḍah (discipline), and murāqabah (self-vigilance), while also stressing the importance of reason and the sharia as means of purification. The implications of this study show that tazkiyah al-nafs is highly relevant to the development of Islamic psychology, particularly in formulating spiritual therapy and character education based on turāth values. Furthermore, the study opens opportunities for integrating classical Islamic concepts into contemporary psychology, focusing on a balanced approach to both the spiritual and mental dimensions of the individual.

Study This aim For understand concepts and practices teachings tazkiyah al- nafs in the Muhammadiyah As Sanusiyah Al Idrisiyah Order in the city of Makassar, as well as evaluate its role and benefits in the lives of the followers of the congregation. Study this also delivers description about the order and its lineage. Study This is study field (field research) with use method analysis descriptive. Research result show that the Muhammadiyah As Sanusiyah Al Idrisiyah Tarekat, which is located in the sub-district Wajo, Makassar city, is a muktabarah congregation with family tree sanad that can explored to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Draft tazkiyah al- nafs in this congregation involve practice dhikr and wirid guided by the tarekat murshid. Murshid teach importance repentance, dhikr, and prayer as part from the purification process soul. Practice dhikr and wazifa done regularly, fine in circumstances special nor in life everyday, for guard chastity heart and calm soul. Teachings tazkiyah al- nafs give impact positive, good in a way social as well as spiritual. By social, the followers of the tarekat become more tolerant, patient and moral glorious. Spiritually, they are feel more near with Allah SWT and have firm faith For face challenge life. Study This highlighting importance tazkiyah al- nafs in form character strong and moral individual good.

Education plays an important role in achieving the ideals of the Indonesian people in accordance with the formulation of the 1945 Constitution which clearly states that the purpose of education is to promote public welfare and educate the life of the nation, essentially the realization of these noble individuals of course it will balance the nation's intelligence in prospering the country. Based on this, education must be able to foster noble character so that later can produce generations that are intelligent and useful for the nation. The problem lies in how to cultivate noble character in students. School institutions by means of teacher teaching are central to instilling students' noble character. Therefore this study aims to find out how storytelling and role-playing activities can foster noble character. This study uses qualitative research with the type of research library. Research libraries are research techniques using book sources to develop science. Clear information and sources have been arranged systematically. Storytelling with role-playing techniques is something that students really like. This will be learning that can stimulate student activity. Inserting values into a story will be useful in developing a noble character. Noble character is a sincere and conscious act that arises from within a person. By telling stories, students will get knowledge about good grades and role-playing will provide opportunities for students to apply the knowledge gained. So that it will become good habits and emerge noble character in students.

Artikel ini mengupas tentang makna tazkiyah al-Nafs yang terkandung dalam hadis Nabi SAW. Hakikatnya manusia merupakan makhluk yang memiliki entitas fisik dan non-fisik. Non-fisik meliputi jiwa, ruh, dan qalb, aql di mana jika terjangkit penyakit maka sulit untuk disembuhkan dibanding penyakit fisik, karena sifatnya yang mudah untuk berubah. Sehingga para psikolog baik Muslim maupun Barat ikut serta dalam mengambil peran dalam penyelesaian persoalan tersebut. Dalam kajian psikolog Barat, persoalan tersebut terhenti hanya pada manusia sendiri, tidak melibatkan hal-hal yang metafisik. Untuk itu, perlunya penelitian ini mengangkat persoalan tazkiyah al-Nafs dalam perspektif hadis. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan metode analisis konten (contens-analysis) pendekatan hadis dengan sanad perawi yang muttasil. Sehingga menghasilkan beberapa poin di antaranya bahwa tazkiyah an-Nafs merupakan solusi Muslim untuk menyucikan jiwanya dari beberapa penyakit manusia, seperti berbangga diri, sombong, kikir, dan lain sebagainya. Bahkan hadis Nabi pun juga dijelaskan bagaimana seorang Muslim mampu mengkondisikan dirinya dari berbagai penyakit jiwa, yaitu dengan shalat, puasa, dzikir, dan masih banyak lagi metode dalam Islam untuk tazkiyah an-Nafs.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui (1) semangat dan keberanian gerakan ekonomi Islam yang dilakukan oleh tokoh pendiri ormas-ormas Islam di Indonesia pra era kemerdekaan, walaupun mereka selalu mendapat ancaman dari pemerintah Belanda. (2) latarbelakang gerakan ekonomi Islam yang dilakukan SDI, Muhammadiyah dan NU pra era kemerdekaan RI. (3) Gerakan-gerakan ekonomi Islam yang dilakukan oleh SDI, Muhammadiyah dan NU mendapat renspon yang positif oleh masyarakat pribumi termasuk pesantren-pesantren dan lain sebagainya (4) Hambatan yang dialami oleh SDI, Muhammadiyah dan NU dalam gerakan ekonimi Islam kepada masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekataan kualitatif. Tulisan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya (1) pola gerakan SDI, Muhammadiyah, dan NU memiliki tipologi dibidang ekonomi yang bersifat modern, tradisionalkonservatif. (2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif terhadap gerakan SDI kepada masyarakat muslim diantaranya terangkatnya pedagang pribumi menjadi kuat, dan menghilangkan perlakuan diskriminatif kepada pedagang pribumi. (3) terdapat pengaruh yang baik terhadap gerakan Muhammadiyah kepada masyarakat baik prekonomian mereka yang meningkat maupun SDM mereka lebih baik, salah satu contoh dari prekonomian dengan mendirikan BMT umat dan Bank Muhammadiyah. (4) terdapat pengaruh positif bagi prekonomian masyarakat akibat dari pengaruhNahdlatut Tujjar dan mendirikan koperasihShirkah Muawwanah di pesantren-pesantren. (5) dengan mengulang kembali tulisan-tulisan gerakan ekonomi Islam pra era kemerdekaan, menjadi motivasi untuk ormas-ormas sekarang ini supaya harus lebih berkontribusi dalam menggerakkan ekonomi Islam dibandingkan dengan gerakan ekonomi Islam pra era kemerdekaan, karena hambatan gerakan ekonomi Islam yang dihadapi sekarang ini, tidak sesulit yang dihadapi gerakan ekonomi Islam pra era kemerdekaan. Kata Kunci: SDI, Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatut Tujjar.

This research aims to describe the practice of integration science and religion in Islamic Religious Colleges or Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI), and various obstacles in realizing it. For that reason, researcher used library research (qualitative library research) with qualitative methods to get research conclusions. The data collection of this study, used instruments of observation and documentation techniques. Based on the the library research result, the conclusions are: 1) Integration of science and religion is implemented with different interpretations in each PTKI. 2) the percentage of general knowledge and religious education content is not proportional with PTKI. 3). It is not known certainty the number of research and community service practices by lecturers with general expertise and lecturers with religious expertise, so are as collaboration between the two as both and the standards for the achievement of those goals.

Character education consists of two words namely education and character. The meaning of character education according to Islam is a conscious effort made by educators to students to shape the personality of students who teach and shape morals, ethics, and a good sense of culture and noble character that foster students' ability to make good and bad decisions and realize goodness that in everyday life by means of education, teaching, guidance and training which is guided by the Qur'an and as-Sunna. The basis of character education in Islam is the Qur'an the character of the Prophet Muhammad. Character education is very important at this time because character will show who we really are, character will determine how someone makes decisions, character determines attitudes, words, and actions of someone, people who have good character, then the words and deeds will also be good, so all it will become a unified identity and personalize itself, making it easy to distinguish from other identities. The purpose of character education is to form a person of noble character because the noble character is the base of goodness. People of good character will soon leave goodness and leave badness. Implementation of character education in Islamic educational institutions varies greatly depending on the policies of these educational institutions.

The purpose of this study is to discuss and describe the curriculum of Islamic education in the concept of hadith Tarbawi. This research method uses library research. As for the results of this study, the curriculum in the concept of Tarbawi hadith is the goal of Islamic education, namely piety, faith, and noble character. While Islamic education materials are faith education, worship education, and moral education. As for the method of Islamic education is the lecture method. Character education is a joint effort of the school community to create a learning environment that is conducive to the growth and formation of the morals of each individual involved in education. However, in its journey, education has undergone curriculum changes and innovations in order to achieve the goals of National Education as stipulated in Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education system. This study aims to internalize the character values in the PAI Budi Pekerti book at the SD level for grades 1 and 4. And what about the character values in the PAI Budi Pekerti book for SD grades 1 and 4. This research is a library research (Library Research), by discussing how the Character Values in Islamic Religious Education Subject Books Based on the Independent Curriculum (Content Analysis of Elementary Student Books Grades 1 and 4). Data collection techniques used in research are in the form of literature/library research/library research, namely looking for data about things or variables in the form of notes, books, papers or articles, journals and so on. The data analysis technique used in library research uses the content analysis method. And the validity of the data the researchers found using the triangulation method. The results of this study indicate that this research refers to the Character Profile of Pancasila Students which will later be examined in the book Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics for Elementary School Grades 1 and 4 based on the independent curriculum which consists of six dimensions of Pancasila student profiles, namely: 1) Faithful and devoted to God Almighty, and has noble character, 2) Independent, 3) Mutual cooperation, 4) Global diversity, 5) Critical reasoning, 6) and Creative.

The process of forming a quality character needs to be formed early on and must be as maximal as possible. However, character education alone is not enough to build good character. Character education methods are needed that not only develop aspects of moral development but are also spiritually based, which were extracted from experts who were experts at the time, namely Imam Al-Ghazali. This research is library research, the data collection is done by means of data documentation. Meanwhile, the data was analyzed using an interpretation of the urgency of the context of child formation. The results of the research show that the urgency of character formation from Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective aims to make a noble soul, not just a mere process, nothing but a process that has a spirit, every activity is shown to the virtues consisting of moral values. The highest moral value is monotheism, namely the oneness of Allah Subhanahuwata'ala and noble character.

This study aims to determine the values of moral education contained in the story of the Prophet Yusuf AS and to know the implications of the values of moral education in the story of the Prophet Yusuf As on moral education in schools. This is based on the fact that the story of the Prophet Yusuf AS in the Koran is one of the best stories that contain educational values. The method used in this research is library research on written texts in books related to moral education, and the story of the Prophet Yusuf AS and its implications for moral education in schools. Data collection was carried out with several literatures or books consisting of primary and secondary data, namely: 1) Primary data, taken from Al Quran and tafsir and Hadith, and books about the story of the prophet Yusuf AS. 2) Secondary data, taken from other than Al-Quran and Hadith regarding the stories of the prophet Yusuf AS, namely from dictionaries, books of education and morals, stories of the prophets and so on. The results of this study indicate that the values of moral education in the story of the Prophet Yusuf As include: the value of honesty, the value of faith, the value of responsibility, moral values, and the value of patience, which these values can be used as motivation for moral education in building a personal personality. have a noble character, and make a story not just a story but a lesson value that can be learned and a form of learning strategy in schools where it is not just a story but there are several methods, one of which is the method of preaching through stories.

This research aims at analysing the interactive education concept in Qur’an wich examines specifically surah al-Baqarah (2) verse 133 and surah al-Saffat (37) verse 102. This research applied both qualitative research approach and are uses type of research literature (Library Research). The technique of data collection carried out in this Reseach was decomentation techniques. Furthermore, the collected data was analysed by using the content Analysis Method. The finding shows that educative interaction in the koran has purposes of promoting a generation of monotheism (Tauhid) to Allah, diligent in worship, and noble character. The achievement is significantly influenced by the personality influenced by the personality of an educator who is patient, caring, and knows the students’ psychology. Moreover, an educative interaction within Qur’an to correspond between values, knowledge and behavior wich lead the learners to be great figures, being able to build a mindset namely scientific thought and noble character.

This study aims to determine the influence of the boarding school administrators' guidance on the improvement of the female students' noble character (akhlakul karimah) at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin, Jati Agung, South Lampung. Effective guidance from the administrators is believed to play an important role in creating a conducive environment for the moral development of students, especially through guidance methods, exemplary behavior, and communication between the administrators and the students. However, there are still issues such as a lack of politeness among students and poor discipline in following the boarding school rules. This study employs a quantitative associative approach with a causal-associative research design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, involving 36 respondents. Data collection methods include questionnaires, observation, and documentation, which involve normality testing, linearity testing, coefficient of determination (R²), and hypothesis testing. Based on the R Square test results, the value obtained is 0.433 or 43.3%. This indicates that the independent variable, namely the guidance provided by the administrators, contributes 43.3% to the formation of the female students' noble character. Meanwhile, the remaining 56.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The results of the simple linear regression test show a significance value (sig.) of 0.003, which is smaller than the probability level of 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between administrators' guidance (X) and the students' noble character (Y). The t-test shows that the calculated t-value is 3.493, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.691. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is a statistically significant influence of administrators’ guidance on the improvement of the female students’ noble character
